Game Trunk at Homo Faber

Among the masterpieces of fine craftsmanship that feature in the Homo Faber exhibition, which opened on 10 April in Venice at the Cini Foundation, we find Game Trunk, a trunk and game set designed by Hangar Design Group for the Bertoni 1949 luggage company. Completely upholstered in parchment leather with spiked black alligator details, the trunk rests on folding legs elegantly covered in woven alligator leather.
Produced in a limited edition, the piece testifies to Bertoni’s virtuosic know-how, which here meets the studio’s stylistic signature. The research and talent put into its creation was noticed and therefore selected by the curators of the innovative cultural initiative dedicated to the masters of art and their precious know-how.
